What is Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP)?
It is a federal nutrition assistance program that provides free, healthy meals and snacks to children in eligible childcare centers, preschools, Head Start programs, after-school programs, and home-based daycare settings.
CACFP meal assistance ensures that children have access to healthy, nutritious meals during their time in care. This support is offered at no cost to eligible families. Daily meals help strengthen focus, physical health, and overall learning readiness. Care is taken to meet nutritional standards appropriate for young children. Thomas Learning Academy prioritizes well-being by providing mealtime support that promotes healthy development.
